AT&T Breach Exposes FBI Call Logs, Informants’ Identities at Risk

Hackers that infiltrated AT&T’s systems last April 2024, have now been confirmed to have involved the theft of FBI call logs.

In a report by Bloomberg News on January 17, 2025, revealed the details of the breach, stating that the contents of the calls were not exposed but communication logs of agents’ mobile and other phone numbers were shown, putting the identities, safety, and ongoing investigations at significant risk.
